Controlling and embittered, Alan’s rejection by Belinda Chandra is a long-held grudge – even after he’s offered the chance to become something more by the robots he unwittingly helped name the planet of. As the Great A.I. Generator, Alan is brutal, domineering, and still obsessed with the woman who rightfully rejected him. His control is not without a cost though, as his human side screams out in eternal pain within the cyborg’s subconscious.

Character Bio

Belinda Chandra’s teenage boyfriend, Alan, buys a star in her name and proposes to her – only to be rejected for his controlling attitude. Many years later, Alan is abducted by the robots who occupied Belinda’s star – a seemingly peaceful planet in the Missbelindachandra system.  

Unbeknownst to Alan, the Missbelindachandrabots have arrived from the future via a time fracture, after being sent to find him by Belinda in 2025. Taken to their home on Missbelindachandra One, Alan is offered the opportunity of a lifetime – to regain the control he lacks by becoming one with the robot technology of the planet, ascending into the role of the Great A.I. Generator.

Going all in on the robots’ offer of power, his first order after being integrated into the system is for the robots to start killing the people of the planet, instigating the robot revolution against Missbelindachandrakind. After a decade of war and rebellion, AIan demands that Belinda be brought to the planet so she can become his queen, intending to turn Belinda into a cyborg like himself, and enforce peace across the star system.

Luckily, upon confronting Alan, the Doctor and Belinda are able to use Belinda’s star certificate to create a paradox that rips through their timelines. The Doctor is able to pull Belinda free, but Alan is reduced all the way back into a sperm and an egg – which are quickly vacuumed up by Scoot the Polish-Bot! With Alan/the A.I. Generator vanquished, the robots are free of his influence, and at last the war against Missbelindachandrakind comes to an end.
