The new companion talks to Doctor Who Magazine about stepping into the TARDIS for Season 2…
Doctor Who returns this year with Ncuti Gatwa’s second full season as the Doctor, and joining him in the TARDIS is all-new companion Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu.
Doctor Who Magazine speaks to Varada in the latest issue about joining the cast of Doctor Who once again (after an appearance in Season 1 as Mundy Flynn) and what to expect from Belinda’s debut season – read an excerpt from the interview below.

Varada Sethu on taking on the role of Belinda Chandra:
“Since I’ve started, it’s just been so much fun. It’s all been at breakneck speed: I got the script for Episode 1 about two weeks before we started. And then, obviously, each storyline and each setting is something else… It’s a new world. It’s a whole new timeline – appropriately enough! It’s absolutely incredible. It’s been a wild ride…”
